Sculpture of Pantherjäger in black terracotta, by Danish sculptor Jens Adolf Jerichau. Measures 54 x 25 x 12 cm and is marked by P. Ipsen, Copenhagen. The figure represents an ancient hunter attacked by a panther, showing a blend of classical idealization and naturalism. This work was created in the second half of the 19th century and marks a milestone in Jerichau's career.
