Our vision is to give visibility to antiques and, above all, to antique dealers. We see the antique dealer as an essential profession — a guardian of beauty who searches, cares for, restores and passes our heritage into new hands.
Antiga is their voice. A meeting point where antique dealers have the space and visibility they deserve. We are a young company, and from here we are building everything the antique dealer needs: a marketplace, appraisal services, shipping, talks, events. Everything this profession deserves and doesn't yet have.
Who we are
Antiga was founded by María Villalonga and Tassilo de la Torre. María is a third-generation antique dealer, raised among the shops of Madrid's Rastro and a family dedicated to the trade for decades. Today she works at Mercedes Cabeza de Vaca, one of the Rastro's most storied shops, where she grew up surrounded by pieces, conversations about provenance, and a deep respect for the profession.
Tassilo is an architect whose career has been shaped by working with heritage, and a love for the antique that has been with him his whole life. From that combination — a lifelong trade and the eye of a builder — Antiga was born.
Behind Antiga there is also a solid team of partners, technicians and top-tier professionals who share the same conviction: that antique dealers deserve more visibility, better tools, and a space worthy of their profession.
