This drawing served as the cover of Les Hommes du Jour, number 60, published in Paris on March 13, 1909. Luce is depicted in profile, focused on his work, with a style that suggests impressionistic brushstrokes. The work comes from the collection of Edouard Bouin and was auctioned at Tajan, Paris, on May 19, 2009.
