Dining frailera table with a semicircular shape. It features elaborate decorations with scrolls at the lower part. The construction includes a robust central support and decorative legs. The back is less decorated, as it was placed against the wall. The patina is nice and in very good condition. It reflects the classic and sober style of the Castilian region.
Object history
Dining frailera table from a convent in the northern plateau of Castilla. The friars ate facing the wall, as eating was not seen as a social act.
