Chairs, armchairs, benches, stools and daybeds from the 18th to the mid-20th century. They include Spanish walnut and leather sillones fraileros (friar’s armchairs), French Consulate-period armchairs, sets of ash chairs, Russian chairs in birch and ebony, lacquered Swedish stools, iron stools after a design by Karl Friedrich Schinkel, English Windsor and ladder-back chairs, Thonet chairs and a wrought-iron and leather rocking chair. Many are sold in pairs or sets; listings state the number of pieces, the dimensions and the condition of the upholstery. Each piece is listed by a dealer who sets the price and answers questions from the listing, which also shows an estimated shipping cost. Pieces more than a hundred years old need an export permit to leave Spain.
