Description

Set of polychrome wooden sculptures from the 18th century. The figures exhibit details in clothing and well-defined facial expressions. Both sculptures show a worn finish, consistent with their age. The polychromy technique is visible in the layers of paint covering the wood. There are losses on the surface and wear in the areas of greatest contact. The sculptures are representative of the religious iconography of the time.
